Unfortunately, your trivia is a bit off. While HM The Queen is indeed a great-great-grandchild of Queen Victoria, HRH The Duke of Edinburgh is a great-granchild of Queen Victoria, not great-great.

According to the OFFICIAL site:

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh are both descended from Queen Victoria. Prince Philip's maternal grandmother (Princess Victoria of Hesse) was a daughter of Princess Alice (1843 - 1878), Queen Victoria's third child. The Queen's paternal grandfather was King George V, the son of King Edward VII, Queen Victoria's second child. Queen Victoria is therefore the great-great grandmother of both The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh.

Just to add:

They are also related through his father's side. His paternal grandfather, King George I of Greece, was Queen Alexandra's brother(Queen Alexandra was the wife of King Edward VII).
