I totally agree with you that Beatrice shouldn't pretend she's ordinary. That actually sounds more pretentious than calling her "Your Highness".
Beatrice seems to have inherited the Hapsburg jaw.
I can't stand it when royals say, just call me 'Beatrice' or 'William'. As if they really want us to do that. Irritates me to no end.
